To promote continuous advancement in the field of dance, it is important to create an environment where gifted dancers who have been trained from a young age can dance healthily for an extended period of time. This study analyzed national-level gifted dancers’ physical and psychological states and made conclusions with the following results: First, 90.9% of gifted dancers experienced injuries with more than half having at least four. Rest and adequate treatment should have been provided considering their age and physical development, but these were not provided. Second, in addition, a test on the dancers’ mental categories showed that they need to invest more time in psychological training. Even though they were trained after their physical ratio and appearance were determined fit for a gifted dancer, female dancers believed their actual bodies were bigger than their ideal bodies. It is believed that proper education will help dancers have a healthier perception about their physical and psychological states, compared to the ones found in this study.
